I arrived at 16UTC on my small contest location in JO31LH and had to setup all the equipment. After 15min my 5 ele DK7ZB was 7m above ground and I was ready to assamble the station in my car. For the NAC contests I only need to beam north and for the UKAC east so there is no need for those contests to turn the antenna. But for the AGCW test it is important to be able to turn the antenna in all direction so I had to sit on the co-driver seat. As I thought about all the cabling, the backup car battery and some too short power cables, I made a quick decission: QRP! Just my FT-290 powered by the cigarette lighter. At 16:30UTC I made my first QSO and 2h later I closed the station with 20 QSOs. The QTH has a perfect takeoff towards F/ON/G/PA, north DL is okay, but towards east and south there are higher hills.
